Home Health Aide
Home Health Aides (HHA’s) provide assistance with activities of daily living under the direct supervision of an RN. Our HHA’s are certified by the NYS Department of Health, screened and highly trained. In addition to their initial training, we provide ongoing training to our HHA’s to enhance their skills and ensure compassionate, quality care. Our professional nursing staff performs periodic supervisory visits to assess the quality of care being delivered. We hand select caregivers to match the personality, needs and preferences of each client.

HHA’s can perform all the tasks of a PCA, however, since they receive a higher level of training than PCA’s, they can also perform additional tasks such as assisting with exercises, simple dressing changes and taking vital signs.
