Our Caregiver Recognition Program is used to recognize those caregivers who go above and beyond to meet the needs of our clients.  They are the hard-working, dedicated, compassionate staff that help us achieve our goal of providing Quality Care Beyond Compare and we are happy to give them the recognition they deserve.

2023 Caregiver of the Year

Congratulations to our 2023 Caregiver of the Year, Kate Gannon!! Kate was chosen for her exceptional reliability and kindness towards everybody she interacts with. Kate has done a lot of “firsts” for the agency. She was our first ever team leader were where she excelled at being an advocate for her client as well as a liaison between the client/staff and the nursing department. Kate also started up as the first caregiver with our county contract where she has flourished and has grown that position to open up opportunities for others. Her consistent care throughout the year has played a huge part in the company’s growth. We have heard nothing but great things about Kate and the care that she provides, her quality of care is truly beyond compare! Keep up the great work Kate! We are truly grateful that we have you as part of our team!

December 2024 Caregiver of the Month

Since joining ATHC in 2022, she has shown incredible dedication with near-perfect attendance this year, and frequently picking up overtime to support her clients. With over 50 years of caregiving experience, she is highly engaging and goes above and beyond to ensure her clients' happiness and well-being. She takes pride in spending quality time with her clients, taking them into the community for activities they enjoy, such as dining out, running errands, and attending appointments. When asked what she enjoys most about being a caregiver, she shared that she loves being with people, which is evident in her compassionate approach. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the casino. Thank you, Rosemary, for your unwavering dedication and passion for caregiving!

Kionna Southward

November 2024 Caregiver of the Month

Since 2018, Kionna has been an outstanding caregiver, earning praise from clients for her compassionate and attentive care. She takes pride in getting to know her patients and building strong bonds with long-term clients, consistently ensuring their happiness and comfort. Her excellent attendance, positive attitude, resourcefulness, and professionalism make her a dependable and invaluable member of our team. Kionna truly loves her job and is content in her career. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and three children. Thank you, Kionna, for all your hard work and dedication!

Carrie Ciampi

October 2024 Caregiver of the Month

With 7 years of experience, Carrie consistently goes above and beyond to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. She is always ready to lend a helping hand, addressing scheduling issues promptly and assisting wherever needed. Her dedication and professionalism are truly inspiring, and her willingness to support both her colleagues and the patients she serves is invaluable. Outside of work, Carrie enjoys spending quality time with her kids and grandkids, as well as cooking. Carrie’s ongoing commitment to excellence makes her an indispensable part of our team, and we are so grateful for all she does!

Wildine Pierre Michel

September 2024 Caregiver of the Month

We are thrilled to honor Wildine for her unwavering dedication and reliability as a caregiver. Since joining our team in 2019, she has consistently gone above and beyond, picking up shifts whenever needed and providing exceptional care to her client who she’s been with for the last 4 years. The positive feedback from both the client and their family speaks volumes about her commitment and compassion. Wildine truly enjoys taking care of her patients and plans to continue working in home care and enjoy watching her son grow up. In her spare time, she loves spending quality moments with her son at the park. We are so grateful to have you on our team, Wildine! Thank you for all that you do!

Richelle’s unwavering dedication and seamless transition from day to overnight shifts highlight her flexibility and commitment to our team. With seven years of caregiving experience, Richelle’s passion for helping others and brightening clients' days truly sets her apart. In her spare time, she enjoys watching Grey’s Anatomy and online shopping, and she looks forward to advancing her career in the health field. Since joining Access To Home Care three years ago, Rebecca has exemplified dedication and flexibility. Her long-term commitment, positive attitude, and exceptional communication skills have greatly enhanced the quality of care we provide. Passionate about helping others, Rebecca enjoys sharing moments like watching soap operas with her clients and enjoys playing bingo with her sister in her free time. With six years of dedicated service, LeBreesha’s exceptional patience, positivity, and reliability shine through. She consistently goes above and beyond, picking up extra shifts and handling all situations with grace and respect. LeBreesha finds joy in caring for her patients with love and has future aspirations to become a CNA or nurse. In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music and writing poems. Shaonna Bradshaw

May 2024 Caregiver of the Month

Shaonna was chosen for her dependability, willingness to help cover open shifts, and dedication to her clients. She is the main reason that her client has been able to remain in her home and we can always count on her to be there and bring her best every time. Shaonna has been a caregiver for 4 years and has been with Access for 2 years. Her favorite thing about her job is seeing her clients getting back their way of living and in the future, she would like to change careers and try something new. Shaonna enjoys spending her free time with her 4-year-old and doing mommy and me days. Thank you, Shaonna, for providing excellent care to your clients!

Nikiera Greene

April 2024 Caregiver of the Month

Nikiera was chosen for her dedication to her clients, dependability, and professionalism. She is a great caregiver and is always patient, calm, and respectful with both her clients and the office. Nikiera has been a caregiver for over 5 years and loves forming good relationships with her clients. Nikiera likes to spend her time walking by the lake and her goal in life is to be better than she was yesterday. Thank you Nikiera, for all of your outstanding work and dedication to your clients. Ivette Lozada

March 2024 Caregiver of the Month

Ivette is a very reliable and dedicated caregiver. She is very passionate about her job and is always doing whatever she can to ensure her client is happy and comfortable. Her reviews from client’s families are always that she is nothing short of amazing. Ivette has been a caregiver for 30 years and loves talking to her patients and taking care of them. In the future, she hopes to continue her passion of caring for her patients until she retires. During her spare time, she likes to travel, garden, draw, and talk with her friends. Stephanie Sanderson

February 2024 Caregiver of the Month

Stephanie was chosen for her professionalism, reliability, and willingness to help. She is always there to help when the office needs a shift covered and rarely calls out of her shifts. Stephanie has been a caregiver for 25 years and enjoys the fact that her job allows her to spend one on one time with her clients, she likes being able to sit and talk with them. In the future, Stephanie hopes to continue working as a caregiver for Access to Homecare as long as possible until it’s time for her to retire. In her spare time, she likes to be around her 5 grandkids. Thank you Stephanie for all of your hard work!

Sue Swartwood

January 2024 Caregiver of the Month

Sue is an extremely reliable and hard-working employee that is loved both by the office and her clients and their families. Sue has perfect attendance and is always willing to help the office either by staying late or picking up a shift to ensure her client is always cared for. She is always kind and respectful when dealing with the office staff and makes sure to keep them informed if her clients need anything along with communicating this with their families as well. Sue has been a caregiver for around 35 years and appreciates that it allows her to take care of the elderly. She enjoys her time with her clients and likes to play games with them, such as Skipbo, when she can. When their families come over, she enjoys spending time with them as well. Sue likes her job and plans on continuing to be a caregiver in the future until it is time for her to retire. She enjoys spending her spare time with her sons and grandchildren. Thank you, Sue! We appreciate everything you do for your clients!

Tamara Davis

December 2023 Caregiver of the Month

Tamara was chosen for her positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to help when needed. She is a great team member and role model for her other caregivers. She creates a great standard for a case that gives a foundation for others to build on. She is also very attentive with her clients and has previously gone out of her way to help other clients as well. Most of all, Tamara is constantly positive and has brought so much light into the lives of her clients. She has been a caregiver since 2010 and enjoys the fact that she can sit down and talk with her clients to learn about their life experiences, especially about their travels and what they used to do. Currently, Tamara likes to spend what free time she has with her 12 year old daughter, specifically traveling with her. She wants to keep focusing on her in the near future but later in life, she has considered studying Alzheimer’s and caring for those that suffer from it. Thank you, Tamara, for all that you do for your clients!
